German, Italian and Spanish (Spain) are now available in Copycat Cafe.
That is one short sentence, but it represents a very big update for our two-person team. We started Copycat Cafe with French, then added Spanish (Latin America). With today’s launch, Copycat Cafe has grown from two courses to five.
Each new course has 200 lessons: 50 at A1, 50 at A2, 50 at B1 and 50 at B2. You can start as a complete beginner and stay with the same course through upper intermediate.
What we built
The new courses are built around the kinds of conversations you may actually want to have.
- In German, you might handle a coffee mix-up, wait for a late tram or negotiate a quiet-hours compromise.
- In Italian, you might get through your first day at a café, find your way around Trastevere or talk about an interview that went wrong.
- In Spanish (Spain), you might join a nervous language exchange, plan a day trip to Segovia or disagree politely over dinner.
The language changes, but The Copycat Method™ does not: Watch. Copy. Chat. First you listen to a conversation. Then you copy useful lines out loud and get pronunciation feedback. Finally, you use what you just practised in a conversation with Copy.
We do not drop you into an empty chat box and expect you to invent a conversation from scratch. By the time you reach Chat, you have already heard and said the words you need.
